The book covers eight generations, beginning with John Moorhead (1720-1785), who was born in Ulster County, Ireland and passed away in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. John’s granddaughter, Mary Moorhead, married John Rowland (1791-1862) in Stark County, Ohio and they became one of the pioneer families of Henry County, Ohio. There were multiple marriages between the Moorhead, Rowland, and Dull families, and about 20 Rowlands are documented in this book. The Rowland males are part of Rowland DNA Group B.
