“The Ancestors and Descendants of Abraham Brown” (1844-1928), compiled and edited by Wilma Brown Henderson, self-published, circa 1986, Bates County, Missouri, 34 pages. The ancestral line traces seven generations, beginning with Hans Jakob Braun (b. before 1690) in Germany.  It includes Johan Jakob Braun “The Wagon Maker” (1731-1808), who emigrated to America before 1750, and died in Washington County, Tennessee.  It eventually leads to Abraham Brown, born 1844 at Vermillion County, Illinois and passed away in 1873 at Pleasant Gap, Bates County, Missouri.

Abraham married Mary Emma Zona Minnick.  The book then lists their descendants, consisting of 10 children and following generations up through the 1980s. It also mentions the allied families of Peter Matthias Minnick (1760- ) and William Stribling (b circa 1800).
