- Kit 50122: this person believes they are a descendant of a Benjamin Rowland born about 1775 in North Carolina or Virginia. WikiTree has a Benjamin Rowland fitting that description and has his father as Thomas Rowland (1750-1836), who was born in Hanover, Virginia, and died in Greenville, South Carolina.
- Kit 158149: this person’s earliest known Rowland ancestor is Herbert James Rowland (1914-1975). WikiTree shows many generations of his ancestors living in Warren County, Tennessee, beginning with James E Rowland (1805-1876). This line currently ends with Thomas Rowland (1750-1836), who was born in Hanover, Virginia and died in Greenville, South Carolina (same as kit#50122 above).
